At the College of Agriculture, Life and Environmental Sciences (CALES), we’re expanding possibilities and harnessing science to solve a broad range of the world’s toughest challenges. As our industries face the unique challenges of the modern area, we are developing the technology and methods to create a sustainable and profitable tomorrow and inspiring students to be flexible problem-solvers. Thank you for your support!

C.P. Patrick Reid and Miriam Davis Reid Endowed Scholarship
After serving as the Director of the School of Natural Resources from 1992 to 2007, C.P. Patrick “Pat” and Miriam Reid generously established an endowed scholarship to give back to the school and create opportunities for future students to get involved in their discipline.
Pat’s own career as an expert in forestry and natural resources was enriched by participating in many service organizations, and this scholarship encourages individuals displaying leadership potential in natural resources professions to participate in service organizations and broaden their engagement with their professional community.
An anonymous donor has pledged $60,000 to match gifts to the scholarship this Giving Day. Please join us in helping to develop the next generation of leaders who will steward our precious natural resources.
