During the 2021-22 academic year, 126 CALS’ students, including 31 seniors just a few credits short of graduation, were placed on enrollment hold because they simply couldn’t find the money. This often happens because of personal events with large, unexpected expenses. This is the worst possible outcome for students—they've invested their time, money and energy with us only to leave without a degree. These life events go from acute devastating challenges to a lifelong loss of the future that they had worked so hard to have.
