To maintain the College of Medicine — Tucson's tradition of excellence, we must provide the financial support necessary to offer the best training possible. Your support is needed more than ever before as government funding continues to decline.

Commitment to Underserved People (CUP) Program

Provides students the opportunity to enhance their clinical and teaching skills by working with medically underserved populations.

Norman Koelling Scholarship 

Norman Koelling, MD, a retired anatomy lecturer, is one of the most respected and loved teachers in the history of the College of Medicine — Tucson. For that and his years of dedication to medical students’ education, this scholarship was established in his name and assists first-year medical students.

The White Coat Campaign 

These funds will support incoming medical students by providing the gift of a white coat and stethoscope to start them on their journey of becoming a physician.

Support the College of Medicine – Tucson White Coat Fund and your gift will be matched by Mr. Bruce Byrd up to $2,500. The White Coat Fund provides white coats and stethoscopes for the incoming Class of 2027. White coats are placed on each student’s shoulders signifying their entrance into the medical profession. Help us let our students feel a part of a supportive community of alumni and friends who are equally passionate about improving lives and building healthier communities.
