Scholarship of Teaching & Learning
Funds will support the recruitment, retention, and professional development of talented faculty and students, with a focus on innovative, evidence-based teaching practices and continuous improvement in pharmacy education. Arizona Poison and Drug Information Center (AZPDIC)
Established in the 1950’s at the College of Pharmacy, AZPDIC serves 14 of Arizona’s 15 counties and handles over 250 calls per day relating to poison and drug exposures. Providing healthcare, education, medical research, and lifesaving interventions, the AZPDIC reduces healthcare costs and supports safe at-home treatment of over 12,500 people every year.
