Commitment to Underserved People (CUP) Program Challenge
The Commitment to Underserved People (CUP) program was created in 1979 and continues today to be a student-developed and student-directed co-curricular program serving a variety of underserved populations in Tucson and Southern Arizona. The work the program does goes well beyond the dollar value. As a mom of two shared, "This clinic is amazing. I've lived through brutality and so have my kids. You make me feel human again, like someone cares." With 10 in-house clinics, nine clinical programs and 21 non-clinical/educational programs currently available in Tucson and Southern Arizona, students have opportunities to participate in service-learning that is related to their individual interests. Supporting the CUP Program will provide critical resources for those who need us most.
