Giving Day 2025 was an incredible success because of YOU!
Your generosity and Wildcat spirit helped us make a huge impact in just 24 hours. Together, we raised more than $7 million from more than a thousand Wildcats around the world, supporting the students, programs and research that make the University of Arizona extraordinary.
Whether you made a gift, shared your story or encouraged others to join in, you were part of something truly special. Your support fuels opportunities, sparks innovation, and makes a real difference in the lives of students, faculty and our entire community.
Missed Giving Day? There’s still time to make an impact! Visit crowdfund.arizona.edu/givingday to give now.
From all of us at the University of Arizona, thank you for showing your love and making Giving Day so wonderful this year. Wildcats like you remind us why we are proud to be part of this amazing community.
❤️Bear Down and Give Back—because together, Wildcats achieve the extraordinary. ❤️
There are only two hours left to make your Giving Day gift, and nationwide we’re only missing donations from Mississippi, Vermont and Rhode Island! Do you have Wildcat friends and family in those states? Reach out to wish them a happy Valentine’s Day and share why you were inspired to give back. Help us spread the love and get all 50 states on the map!
As part of Giving Day, Eugene Jhong has made a philanthropic commitment of $2 million to create the Thomas G. Bever and Stuart R. Hameroff Chair in Consciousness Studies in the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences. The new Chair benefits from the U of A Eminent Scholars Program, which helps the university recruit and retain top faculty and support graduate students. The holder of the Chair will be the director of the Consciousness Studies minor. Eugene, a retired Google software developer turned philanthropist, has previously supported the creation of the Consciousness Studies minor as well as interdisciplinary research in consciousness at the U of A. The College of SBS is incredibly grateful for Eugene’s generosity and vision.
