CALS AZ Science, Engineering & Math Scholars Program (ASEMS)
Arizona’s Science, Engineering & Math Scholars program (ASEMS) is a STEM equity initiative that fosters an inclusive, student-centered culture that empowers and celebrates each scholar’s unique background and assets. ASEMS culturally responsive advising, mentoring, programming, classes, and community environment provides scholars with the tools necessary to launch successful STEM careers. ASEMS has served over 700 scholars since 2011 and has 505 active participants who will enter the STEM workforce as scientists, engineers, analysts, researchers, scholars, and engaged community leaders.
