Make your gift to the Strategic Alternative Learning Techniques (SALT) Center today and President’s Club member Jim Thoresen will match that amount by making an additional contribution to benefit SALT student scholarships and programs up to $7,500. Your gift to the SALT Center provides access to innovative programming and support services for students who learn differently.

It has been said that leaders are not born, they are made. At CAPLA, we recognize that instilling leadership qualities in our students is an important element of our pedagogy. A generous LawCat from the class of 1998 has issued a 3:1 challenge gift for all gifts up to $10,000 made on giving day to support student scholarships at the College of Law. For every $1,000 donated, an additional $3,000 in scholarship funding will be unlocked until we reach $10,000!

The Alumni Advisory Council is matching gifts to the Arizona Assurance Scholarship up to $3,600 in Memory of Edith “Edie” Auslander ('61, '75), a champion for students around the state. Arizona Assurance is more than a scholarship, it’s a mentorship program that provides support for students from around the state who are often first-generation college students with financial need. The Alumni Advisory Council is comprised of dedicated alumni tasked with growing and increasing alumni engagement through outreach, mentorship and collaboration. Arizona Arts fosters inclusive communities, equitable experiences, and diverse perspectives as cornerstones of creativity, artistic expression, and cultural production. Reuben Carranza ’90 and Jim Hoffbauer ask you to join them in enabling access to the arts and advancing equity, diversity and inclusion in the arts and arts education by supporting this initiative. After serving as the Director of the School of Natural Resources from 1992 to 2007, C.P. Patrick “Pat” and Miriam Reid generously established an endowed scholarship to give back to the school and create opportunities for future students to get involved in their discipline. Pat’s own career as an expert in forestry and natural resources was enriched by participating in many service organizations, and this scholarship encourages individuals displaying leadership potential in natural resources professions to participate in service organizations and broaden their engagement with their professional community.
